How it works

1

Text Macro. Tap the button below — it opens Messages with a hello already typed. Send it.

2

Two minutes of setup, in the chat. Name, height, weight, what you’re going for. Macro works out your calorie and protein targets.

3

Then just text what you eat. A photo, a sentence, a restaurant order. Corrections too — “make that brown rice”. One line back, every time.

Why text?

Apps get opened less every week. Messages gets opened fifty times a day. The whole product is one line in, one line out — which is why people actually keep logging.

What does it cost?

Free while Macro is in beta. We’ll say so well before that changes.

iPhone only?

iMessage gives the best experience (photos, tapbacks), but plain SMS works too. US numbers for now.

Is it accurate?

Packaged food off the label, restaurant dishes from the restaurant’s own numbers when they publish them, generic food from the USDA database. When it estimates, it says so — and you can correct anything in one text.

What about my data?

Your logs are yours: ask for an export or a full delete any time, in the chat. We don’t sell data. Privacy policy.
